Israel Wayne is an author and conference speaker who has a passion for defending the Christian faith and promoting a Biblical worldview. He is the author of the books Homeschooling from a Biblical Worldview, Full-Time Parenting: A Guide to Family-Based Discipleship, Questions God Asks, Questions Jesus Asks, and more.
Since 1995, Israel has traveled the nation speaking on family, homeschooling, revival, discipleship, and cultural issues. He is a frequent guest on national radio and television programs. Israel’s family began home educating in 1978 and has been featured in national and international publications including TIME Magazine, The Arizona Republic, WORLD Magazine, Court Report and the Wall Street Journal. Israel has been featured as the keynote speaker at various conferences, with over 5,000 in attendance.
Israel desires to see God’s people learn to think and live Biblically. Aiming for both the head and the heart, Israel’s goal is to challenge audiences to take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ. In his words, “God’s Word applies to all areas of life. There is not one facet of our existence which does not fall under the direct claim of Lordship by Jesus Christ. This includes how we spend our money, what entertainment we consume, how we educate our children, how we use our time, etc. All of life must be understood from within a Biblical worldview.”
Gary Porter (Constitution Leadership Initiative)
The Constitution Leadership Initiative is a non-partisan organization devoted to promoting a better understanding of the U.S. Constitution among the American people. We will pursue our mission through a series of initiatives:
Initiative 1: Conduct public seminars, symposia and debates on constitutional issues.
Initiative 2: Develop a network of advocates at state and local level who will keep a discussion of constitutional issues in the public view, through Letters to the Editor, newspaper and magazine articles, and other media.
The Director of BWLC, David L. Barrett, has a B.A. degree in mathematics and an M.A. degree in family studies. He has worked in the educational field since 1985 as a homeschool father of seven, and the leader of a local homeschool organization (The Montgomery Institute).
Since 1993 David has served as administrator and high school instructor at Covenant Academy, a private, Christian school that joins with the home in educating children to be the Christian Statesmen of tomorrow. Covenant Academy recently scored the highest of any school on the PEERS Worldview Test. He also serves as a Teaching Elder at Wellsprings Church and teaches at Bradford Christian College.
